Flag Football Leagues

FLAG FOOTBALL ENTRIES

We will be taking Flag Football Entries between August 20, and September 4. To enter a team, you can pick up your form at the reception desk of the Student Recreation Center, or sign up on-line today. When entering a team, your entry will not be considered complete until you come down to the Student Recreation Center and pay the $30 entry fee. All fee's must be paid by 8:00pm on September 4.

CAPTAINS MEETING

Their will be a mandatory captain's meeting Sept. 10, at 4:00pm in commons area of the Student Recreation Center. You must have a team member present for your team to be eligible for play. For additional information you can E-Mail us, or contact the University Recreation Programs at 341-6778.

LEAGUES

Leagues will be offered in Fraternity, Sorority, Resident Hall Men, Resident Hall Women, Independant Men, Independant Women, and International division's. Leagues will begin on September 15 and will run through October 16. Games will be held at the new flag football fields, north of interstate 35. Competition will begin at 3:30pm and run until 6:30pm, and will be held Monday through Thursday. You may make changes to your roster through the completion of the last day of regular season. A post season tournament will be held in each division, and all teams will make the tournament.

Are you curious if the weather will cooperate for your game? For your convenience, we have provided a link to the weather channel that will open a new browser window. If their is a chance that your game may be rained out for the day, PLEASE CALL THE FRONT DESK OF THE STUDENT RECREATION CENTER AT 341-6778. WE WILL ALSO GIVE THE OFFICIAL GAME CANCELLATION NOTICE ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THIS SITE BY 2:30PM. Decissions will not be made before 2:00pm. We will try to rescheduled as many games as possible.
