Class Descriptions
ZUMBA- Zumba is an aerobic exercise routine inspired by Latin American dance moves and interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that will tone and sculpt the body. No dance experience necessary. –Marqueita
Gutz & Glory-Tired of the basic crunch? Gutz & Glory will show you a wide variety of core related exercises with different pieces of equipment. Come challenge yourself in this 30 minute core targeted class.–Steve/Aaron/Taylor
TRX-Born in the U.S. Navy SEALS and developed by Fitness anywhere, suspension training is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose. - Josh/Aaron/Taylor
Circuit Challenge- Come push yourself to your limits doing circuit training! This is an intense group fitness class that includes a wide variety of fitness equipment including kettle bells, TRX, BOSU balls, stability balls, battling ropes, resistance bands, and Free weights.–Steve
Grappling 101 – This class is for all levels of people with prior experience to beginners in MMA. It teaches a combination of mix martial arts and wrestling that focuses on takedowns, transitions and submissions.- Jamie
Stretching-Come relax and increase your flexibility in this 30 minute class which focuses on stretching only. The class will begin with light walking then dynamic stretching will be done and finally static stretching. Stretching with different pieces of equipment will also be taught. - Steve
Power Yoga - In this class we will explore different yoga postures, while getting a workout. No one says Yoga has to be easy. It is not advanced, but you will work up a sweat as we do balance poses, stretching, power poses, and meditation all in one class. –Dan M.
Rejuvenation Yoga - This class will focus on recovering your body through stretches, meditation, and relaxation. Release your stress, increase your flexibility, and improve your bodies well-being in rejuvenation yoga.- Dan M.
Muay Thai –Learn basic form and techniques accompanied with short, intense physical training.- Sean
Lifetime Sports – Want to get a workout that you know you will enjoy? Lifetime sports incorporates the fitness strategy called “fun” into your workout. Every week we will choose a different sport/activity to play based on the number of people who attend and what You want to do for exercise. Come for a good/noncompetitive time.- Dan M.
Dancing With Dan– A fun dance class that incorporates different dance styles with fun exercises. Line dancing, Zumba, hip hop and Tae-Bo have been an inspiration to making this energetic workout. The most important thing to remember is to keep moving. - Dan
Hooping- Hula hooping is great exercise whether you're an experienced hooper or just starting out on your journey. Hoops are provided or your can bring your own!
