I am a professor of Physics at Emporia State University having joined the faculty in 1986. I was trained as a plasma physicist
and for the past twenty years have divided my research equally between fusion energy and basic plasma physics studies. Since
about 1992 I have also been developing a research program in cognitive science/machine intelligence.

At one time or another I have been called upon to teach most of our physics offerings. I have also taught a few of the
computer science courses.

My hobbies include reading and socialist economic theory. I can be reached at 620-341-5974.
