Kansas Space Grant Consortium Fund Support for

PS 500PA or PS 700PA GIS and Remote Sensing for

Teachers on a Constrained Budget Workshop

July 31-August 2 (9:00am-4:00pm, W-F) 1 credit hour Summer;

additional 1 credit hour for Fall and Spring follow-up

 

A limited number of participant support stipends will be awarded on a first-application/first-award basis for inservice teachers; a few may be awarded to preservice teacher candidates

Funds will provide support stipends for residential participants to include housing, meals, tuition/fees, and a mileage allowance. Stipends for commuting participants will include all but housing and partial for meals. Participants receiving support must be U. S. citizens. (Preservice teachers may have only tuition/fees.)

 

You MUST provide your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and BIRTHDATE in order to receive payment of meal/mileage stipend.  This can be done upon arrival or by using the contact numbers below.

NOTE:  Space Grant awardees with bachelor’s degrees (inservice teachers) would be enrolled for graduate credit; persons without bachelor’s degrees (preservice teachers) would be enrolled for undergraduate credit.
