KPERS

KPERS is a defined benefit plan. Membership is mandatory for all employees in eligible positions regardless of age. Following one year waiting period, employees begin contributing at 4% of gross salary. KPERS is excluded from federal income tax. The university contributes 5.27% of your gross salary.
