General Responsibilities

The role of the Office of Payroll at Emporia State University includes...

  • making accurate and timely payments for the university;
  • making all statutory deductions and all required reporting procedures;
  • making all non-statutory deductions and/or reductions and verify record keeping and reporting procedures;
  • maintaining records and reports required by the university, state and federal governmental agencies;
  • the Payroll Office reports to the Associate Vice President of Fiscal Affairs
