Welcome to the Department of Psychology,Art Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Mental Health Counseling's web site! The faculty and staff have designed this site for optimal informativeness and ease of accessibility for prospective students and their parents as well as current students.  The menu of links on the left side of the web page will help you navigate to where you want to go.

You will find extensive descriptions of all degree programs, all courses, and all faculty and staff as well as detailed descriptions for applying to each program.  Please call the department office at 620-341-5317 if you need additional assistance. 

The department includes 500 majors, 18 faculty, and the following degree programs:

Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Art/Bachelor of Science in Education in Psychology

Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services Education

Master of Science in Art Therapy

Master of Science in Clinical Psychology

Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling

Master of Science in Psychology with concentrations in Experimental and  

                                   Industrial/Organizational Psychology

Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling

Master of Science and Education Specialist in School Psychology

In addition, the department sponsors the following student organizations: Mental Health Counseling Student Organization (MENTO), Psi Chi, Psychology Club, Rehabilitation Club, School Psychology Student Society (SPSS), Student Art Therapy Organization (SATO), and the Student Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SSIOP).
