Faculty: Education Abroad Resources
Emporia State University and the Office of International Education encourage faculty to develop short-term study abroad courses. Below you will find information and documents that will explain the process of proposing and planning a course. All forms must be submitted to the OIE by the deadlines outlined below in the Instructor's Handbook in order to be offered for credit. In addition, there are other helpful links, such as a link to the Elderhostel Program, at the bottom of this page.

Request a Classroom Visit and/or Information on Education Abroad
Click on the link above to have the Study Abroad Coordinator visit your class(es). Presentations can range from very general opportunities to specific countries and programs. Faculty or advisors may also request information on programs of study in order to pass information along to students.
Information on Developing a Faculty-Led Education Abroad Course
If you are interested in developing a faculty-led program, click on the above link to fill out a questionnaire and schedule an appointment. The Study Abroad Coordinator can meet with you about funding opportunities, logistics, marketing, etc.

http://www.studyabroadfunding.org/ : A good search engine for finding scholarships and grants. You may search by discipline or country/region. It identifies resources according to who is eligible (undergrad, grad, professional, etc.).
