About the Partnership

At the same time, students will build a valuable network of scholars and researchers in the United States.
The Science without Borders Program is a joint effort among two Brazilian sponsoring organizations:

The City of Emporia
The City of Emporia is an educational, industrial, commercial, and medical center that serves over 60,000 people in east central Kansas. The downtown area is adjacent to campus with convenient dining, shopping, and recreation. Emporia is located in the Flint Hills of Kansas and is a university city of 29,000 people that offers plenty of social, cultural, and religious opportunities to our students. The year is marked by four colorful and changing seasons. The weather allows many outdoor activities with moderate springs, a colorful autumn, warm summers, and occasional snowfalls in the winter.
