Rock musical, return of a popular emeritus professor highlight ESU’s 2007-08 theatre season
Emporia State University opens the upcoming theatre season with the popular rock musical "Little Shop of Horrors". Then in March, Emeritus Professor Ron Frederickson returns to ESU to direct "Nickel and Dimed" in the theatre that bears his name.
Other ESU productions include two Greek anti-war plays, "The Trojan Women", and "Lysistrata" (November), a popular West End melodrama, "The Woman in Black" and "Shakespeare in Hollywood", a new farce by the author of "Lend Me a Tenor". The 2007-2008 ESU Theatre season of plays:
