VITA tax preparation site busy as April 15 approaches

Every year about this time, a classroom on the third floor of Emporia State University's Cremer Hall is home base for hundreds of people who need help filling out their federal income tax returns.

The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program is staffed by ESU students offering their services Mondays and Thursdays from 2-7 p.m. in Cremer Hall, room 320. For more information on the program, call 620-341-5693.
