Dr. Khaled Alshare receives President’s Research and Creativity Award

An associate professor in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Emporia State University is the recipient of the ESU President’s Award for Research and Creativity. Dr. Khaled Alshare was recognized at the 25th annual Research and Creativity Forum April 8.
This award was established in 1996 to honor an individual who has been active in research, scholarly activity, or creative endeavors at Emporia State University.
Since coming to ESU in 2001, Alshare has published over 100 articles in refereed journals and professional academic conference proceedings. He has been recognized for his scholarship from international and national business associations, including the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), the Decisions Sciences Institute (DSI), the International Academy of Business and Public Administration Disciplines (IABPAD), and Allied Academies international conferences. Alshare is also active in campus organizations and involves his students in research projects and academic conferences.
