Emporia State’s Blaufuss Run/Walk slated for Saturday

The third annual John Blaufuss Memorial Run/Walk to benefit Emporia State University scholarships will be held Saturday, April 19, on the ESU campus.

The 5K race and two-mile walk begin at 9 a.m. in front of the Sauder Alumni Center, 1500 Highland St. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., and a reception at the center will follow the race.

All proceeds from the annual event, sponsored this year by Barnhart Builders, will benefit ESU’s General Scholarship Fund. To register or learn more about the race, contact Mike Crouch at (620) 341-5440.
