ESU makes connection at Women's Symposium
ESU-themed gift baskets awarded during this year's Women's Symposium will likely find a place in the hearts of the two women who won them. The winners were (left photo) Kassandra Bottenbert, a 1982 ESU business graduate, and Brooklyn Gardner of Waterville, a junior pre-pharmacy student at ESU.

The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau sponsored the 13th annual event Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Emporia. Keynote speaker was Kathy Dempsey, president of Keep Shedding! Inc., a company that helps individuals grow by helping them visualize possibilities. Opening speaker was Kylene Flaming, a human resources professional.
