ESU A Cappella Choir to deliver Valentine-o-Grams

If a dozen roses, a warm fuzzy bear or that romantic card does not do the trick, then Emporia State University has that extra special something you’re looking for this Valentine’s Day.

ESU's A Cappella Choir is ready and willing to help you show just how much you care with their Valentine-O-Grams.

“The purpose for singing valentine-o-grams has always been as a fundraiser for the various tours by A Cappella Choir. However, the singing Valentines give such joy to others. The singers love bringing a ray of sunshine into someone’s day,” said Terry Barham, Director of Choral Activities.

Valentine-O-Grams will be delivered February 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Grams are $10 for students and $20 for community members.

Valentine-O-Grams consist of a homemade valentine designed by the A Cappella members, a chocolate rose and two of the following four songs:
• I Love You A Bushel and Peck
• Let Me You Call Sweetheart
• Baby Face
• I Love You Truly

“This is a great gift. What is more romantic for your special someone than music and roses and a handmade valentine card? You can even ask that we singers embarrass your spouse or friend! We'll be nice about it,” said Barham.

If you are interested in purchasing a Valentine-O-Gram please call 620-341-5483 and leave your name, the name of the recipient, the exact address where the valentine is to be delivered and your two song choices. The last day to place an order is Friday, February 9th at 6:00 p.m.
