ESU to host 2nd Annual Cajun Jubilation dinner

Emporia State University is hosting its 2nd Annual Cajun Jubilation dinner to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims. The event will be held in the Memorial Union Skyline room, Nov. 4 at 6:00 p.m.
There will be a menu of Cajun food including red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, boiled crawfish with potatoes, corn and sausage, seafood remoulade salad and hushpuppies prepared by ESU Chef Harold Jensen. Dessert will include King Cake and Bananas Foster. Beverages will also be provided.
All proceeds from the dinner will go to a children’s recreation center in the Greater New Orleans area. Last year this event raised $3,053.07 for Hurricane Katrina victims. Tickets are $30 and are available for purchase at the ID/ticket booth office in the ESU Memorial Union. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
