ESU announces 2006 fall graduation candidates
Emporia State University commencement exercises will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 at 10:00 a.m. in William Lindsay White Auditorium, 111 East 6th Avenue.
Dr. Herbert Achleitner, a professor in the School f Library and Information Management, will be the commencement speaker. Achleitner is the 2006 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor.
The Presidential Award for Distinguished Service to Diversity will be presented at commencement Saturday. The award recognizes individuals for leadership in furthering diversity and mutual respect. Criteria for selection include breadth and depth of involvement in such areas as recruitment, retention, curriculum, and extra-curricular activities.
