By Rachel Roberts
Student Public Affairs and Marketing

College life comes with many challenges and one that is constantly on the minds of students is that of health. Health Week, sponsored by the Union Activities Council, gives students a chance to develop some healthy habits. "It is a fun way to inform students about a healthy lifestyle," said Abby Otte, chair of Visual Arts.
There is a wide variety of activities that will be offered throughout the week at Memorial Union's Mainstreet.

  • March 7- Time-out for Training Trivia, 11am-1pm
  • March 8- Sink Your Stress, 11am-1pm
  • March 9- Spa Day, 10am-2pm
  • March 10- Fast Food Facts, 11am-1pm , and a Movie - "Supersize Me", 7 p.m.- Hornets Nest
Monday, students can stop by and learn some useful trivia. Tuesday join in the fun to create your own stress balls to eliminate the tension in your life. Wednesday is spa day, Tranquility Day Spa and Salon, Nature's Paradise , and Mary Kay Satin Hands will be providing students with free massages, waxing, and other samples. Thursday will begin with Fast Food Facts and then later the movie Supersize Me will be showing in the Hornet's Nest at Memorial Union. "We chose Supersize Me because it discourages people from eating out and it is informative and interesting," Otte said.
