Sales and Withholding Tax workshop to be held

Emporia State University's Small Business Development Center will host a Sales and Withholding Tax Workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 1 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It will be held in the National Teacher's Hall of Fame, Glennen Board Room 112.

The Workshop will be presented by Ronald Grant, a tax specialist for the Kansas Department of Revenue.

The workshop will cover tax forms, withholding taxes from employees, record keeping systems, and liability for Kansas Use Tax.

For accountants, this workshop will count for three CPE hours, and for attorneys this workshop will count for three CLE hours.
