Community Chorus seeks new members
Dr. Terry Barham, ESU's Community Chorus conductor is encouraging everyone interested to come and join the Community Chorus, he is looking for about “85-90 People Who Enjoy Singing.”
Some pieces that Barham has planned for the choir to sing are works by Benjamin Britten, “A Ceremony of Carols,” and John Jacob Nile's, “I Wonder As I Wander,” as well as “The Sleigh” by Richard Kountz.
Music will cost approximately $18 and may be purchased at Flint Hills Music or at the first two rehearsals.
Rehearsals will be Mondays from 7-9 p.m. in Beach Music Hall room 132 on the ESU campus. There are no auditions required to join the choir. The first rehearsal is August 22, 2005.
The semester will end with a concert on December 4.
