Contractors' sales tax workshop offered

The Emporia State University Small Business Development Center will offer a workshop September 14 exclusively for contractors, subcontractors, and repairmen.

The workshop will cover how sales tax applies to materials and labor, project exemption certificates, sales tax returns, billing and related issues.

Ronald Grant, Tax Specialist for the Kansas Department of Revenue is the workshop presenter.

The workshop will be held from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the National Teachers Hall of Fame building in the Glennen Board Room 112 at 1320 C of E Drive in Emporia , KS .
