Small business development center offers Quickbooks workshop

The Emporia State University Small Business Development Center is hosting two QuickBooks Workshops in October. The first workshop will be in the Emporia Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, on Oct. 20. QuickBooks for Beginners will be held from 8:30 am to noon , and Intermediate QuickBooks will be held from 1:30 to 5 pm .

The second conference will be held in the Morris County Courthouse Meeting Room of Council Grove on Oct. 21. Intermediate QuickBooks will be held from 8:30 am to noon , and Advanced QuickBooks will be held from 1:30 to 5 pm .

Those planning to register in the Intermediate class are required to have one year of experience using QuickBooks, or to have completed QuickBooks for Beginners. Those planning to register in the Advanced QuickBooks must have taken the Intermediate class.

The registration fee is $99 for one workshop, or $169 for both. Class size is limited and paid registration must be received by Friday, Oct. 15. To register, call ESU SBDC at 620-341-5308, or e-mail sbdc@emporia.edu .
