Grant workshops offered at ESU
The Office of Graduate Studies and Research is sponsoring grant and proposal development workshops on Monday, Oct. 18, and Tuesday, Oct. 19.
Daniel Riggle, Program Manager of the Grants Resource Center in Washington , D.C. , will be conducting the workshops.
The funding opportunity workshop sessions will include information on grant opportunities applicable to our institution and will cover different academic disciplines, as well as international and cross-disciplinary opportunities.
Monday's proposal development session will cover the basics of proposal development and will be especially beneficial for faculty members who have never submitted a grant proposal or for those who have submitted unsuccessful proposals. Tuesday's proposal development session will go beyond the basics and will be beneficial for those individuals who would like tips on how to fine tune their proposal development skills.
