HALO hosting International Fair
Emporia State University 's Hispanic American Leadership Organization (H.A.L.O.) will host an International Fair on Thurs., Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union Main Street.
The International Fair will celebrate the heritage and culture of students from all over campus. Countries from around the world will be represented at the fair. Pictures, posters, brochures, flags and maps are just a few of the things students will showcase to show off their country's history, heritage, and customs.
"H.A.L.O. is doing this fair because we want to share our culture. We also hope to have more than Latin countries. So far, we have confirmed the following countries: Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Panama, Chile, Republic of Georgia, Canada, Paraguay, Ecuador, and Nigeria," said H.A.L.O. Vice President Enilda Romero.
If you are interested in sharing your diversity at the International Fair, e-mail H.A.L.O. at halo@emporia.edu.
