MBA students and local band team up for benefit show

The MBA Association and a local rock band will join forces Feb. 15 to raise money to help needy families next winter.

Started out as ann E-mail student orgg officer from bulletin project for the year.
MBA association….decide what we can do. Matt Kazinsky…in a band…make it in Emporia with a bad.
Have him play for free someplace….and do a fundraiser out of the deal.
Skyrocketed…so much fun. geocities.com/thecause909.html2093 hits in two weeks…two weeks.
Handed out five hundred flyers next week.
All money raised sponsoring some families next holiday. In correlationwith food drive next year.
My goal sponsor 10-12 families.
Make sure have food or necessities they need for thanksgiving or Christmas.
Means to help community in some way.
Sponsored by www.pissant.com
Think it’s a lot of fun. People getting into it. Lot of people calling up…if he’s playing anywhere else.
Feb. 15 Josie’s Tavern
Giving drink specials. Keep everything at the door….not asking for anything $2 ccover charge.
Catch people who know the band. Fraternities and sororities. People who our who love live music. That evening when basketball game gets out.
Live, Black Lab, Counting Crows.
Taken alternative genre and turned it into slightly more crisp and rock and rollish. Unique.Marketing project for the MBA Association.
Being able to brnch out into a new kind of business.
Handing out flyers
