ROUNDTABLE
The
following is a summary of faculty and staff accomplishment reported
to ESU Public Affairs and Marketing in August 2003:
PRESENTATIONS
Three faculty of the Department of Counselor Education and Rehabilitation Programs presented programs at the Association for Adult Development and Aging conference in Las Vegas, held on August 8-10. Dr. Colleen Etzbach, assistant professor, and Dr. Wendy Enochs, assistant professor, co-presented, "Addressing Substance Abuse Habits of Older Adults". Dr. David Kaplan, professor and chair, presented, "Working with Families Across the Lifespan".
Elaine Edwards, professor emeritus of the Department of Music, was a guest clinician at the eighteenth annual International Music Festival, hosted by Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, Ohio, July 26 - August 1. Edwards was featured in two faculty recitals, performing compositions by Beethoven and Chopin. She appeared on a panel discussing "motivational techniques for young musicians" with Rita Hauch of Cincinnati, Ohio and Grace Fields, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Edwards taught piano lessons and repertoire classes to students from Israel and the United States.
PUBLICATIONS
Dr. Kalyan Chakraborty, assistant professor in the Department of Accounting and CIS, Dr. Sukant Misra, professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University, and Phillip Johnson, associate professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economincs at Texas Tech University, had "Measuring Technical Efficiency and Total Factor Productivity: An Application to Cotton Production" published in Regional Business Review, Vol. 22 - May 2003, pp. 11-27.

Please identify all individuals named in your submission according to title (professor, associate professor, assistant professor, instructor, e.g.) and department (Department of Biological Sciences, Counselor Education and Rehabilitation Programs, e.g.). Include the designation "Dr." where appropriate.
If your submission lists someone from another university, please indicate the name and location (city, state) of the university.
