Senate, House seats subject of candidate forum at Emporia State
October 18, 2012Emporia State University’s Classified Assembly is organizing a candidate forum for those running for Kansas House and Senate seats. The public is invited to attend the forum, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30. The event will be in the PKP Room of the Memorial Union, which is on the lower level next to the Office of International Education.
Candidates for Kansas Senate District 17 and House Districts 51, 60 and 76 have been invited to attend. Each candidate will have two minutes for opening remarks then will answer questions from moderator Tyler Curtis, Emporia State University legislative liaison.
Questions may be submitted in advance to Curtis by email to tcurtis@emporia.edu. Additional questions will be taken at the event from the audience as time allows.
