Professors earn promotions and tenure

As the spring semester wound down, faculty members at Emporia State University were rewarded with tenure and promotions that are effective with the start of the 2013-14 academic year.

Following university policy, qualified faculty are awarded tenure after six years of service. Faculty approval of promotion occurs after at least six years in rank. The following faculty were granted promotion, tenure or both:
