Two gallery receptions set for Tuesday

The artwork of Emporia State students will be on display in two different galleries.
The ESU Student Show opens in the Eppink and Gilson galleries inside King Hall with a reception in the Bruder Theatre lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3. Immediately following, from 7 to 9 p.m., “The Salon des Refuses” will premiere with a reception at the Emporia Arts Center, 815 Commercial St.
Ricky Allman, a painter from the Kansas City area, was the juror for the shows.
The Emporia Arts Center gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Eppink and Gilson galleries on the Emporia State campus are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
