Ticket information for tonight’s men’s basketball MIAA tournament game

March 4, 2013

When the Emporia State University men’s basketball team launches its post-season play tonight, it’s a whole new ballgame in terms of tickets.

The eighth-seeded Hornets take on the ninth-seeded Missouri Southern Lions at 7 p.m. tonight on Slaymaker Court in W.L. White Auditorium in Emporia. Because this is the first round of the MIAA tournament, ticket prices and rules are set by the conference.

That means that student tickets are not covered by fees paid by Emporia State students, there are no senior prices and no University-related specials can be honored.

Tickets cost $15 for reserved seats, $10 for adult general admissions and $5 for children age 4 through high school plus Emporia State students. Tickets can be purchased in the ticket office of the Memorial Union until 5 p.m. today or after 6 p.m. at White Auditorium. They also can be purchased over the phone by calling 341-NEST (6378) and picked up at Will Call at the auditorium.

Emporia State Athletics and Associated Student Government will pick up the tab for the first 190 ESU students who show their IDs at the student gate at White Auditorium.
