Workshop focuses on writingMarch 2, 2012
Skilled and professional writers will help participants improve their writing skills on Saturday, March 3 during the Focus on Writing Day at Emporia State University.
Morning sessions in the William Allen White Library will be presented by ESU faculty and other writers — Andrea Warren, MaxMcCoy, Gwendolynne Larson, Amy Sage Webb, Theresa Mix, Jerilynn Henrikson and Andrew Smith. Participants will purchase lunch on their own from the International Food Festival in Visser Hall then enjoy a keynote speech by Warren, a William Allen White Children's Book Award recipient.
The event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is free and open to all ESU students and community. ESU credit is available with paid tuition and PDC points are offered.
