Campus closed Friday, Feb. 22 for weather
February 21, 2013Because of the severe winter storm, Emporia State University will remain closed Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.
"Reducing traffic on the roads and on campus will help all crews working hard to clear roads in and around Emporia as well as on our campus," said Dr. Michael D. Shonrock, president of Emporia State University.
Already the Emporia area has received more than 10 inches of snow with more expected Thursday evening.
For students remaining on campus in residence halls, Hornets Nest resident dining will be open weekend hours on Friday.
