Shonrock takes Emporia State message to rural communitiesJanuary 23, 2014
Exploring ways to be a regional partner will have Dr. Michael D. Shonrock, president of Emporia State University, visiting Reading and Osage City on Saturday.
The Emporia State University Alumni Association is sponsoring the “Coffee and Conversation” events from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 in the Reading Community Building and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Santa Fe Depot in Osage City.
“As we develop our new strategic plan, we are seeking to engage our regional constituents to discover ways Emporia State can be of service and how the university can be the best educational partner possible,” explained Tyler Curtis, executive director of alumni relations.
