Beach Hall Music Facilities
Beach Music Hall, first occupied in 1928, underwent a complete renovation. The Shepherd Music Center, a new music addition was constructed at the north end of Beach Music Hall.

Shepherd Music Center Addition
The renovated Beach Music Hall houses Heath Auditorium, the Music Office, classrooms, faculty studios, the Hendricks Music Computer Lab, the piano lab, and individual and chamber practice rooms. The new addition houses both a choral and an instrumental rehearsal room, two sectional rehearsal rooms, the Valeta Jeffrey Ives Room performance green), the percussion studio,recording center, music score libraries, and instrumental storage.

Dave Emig of Dave Emig and Associates, Emporia, was the renovation and addition architect.
