Terrisa Ziek
Terrisa Ziek is an active performer, both as a soloist and in various ensembles. She is a member of the Emporia State Faculty Brass Quintet, and the Mid-America Woodwind Quintet. She has performed as a recitalist in Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Her teachers include Louis Stout and David Bushouse. Terrisa served as an Elementary Music Specialist with the Derry Area School District, (PA) for seven years. Ms. Ziek also performed with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra (PA) as a cellist, from 1982 to 1995. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Music from Emporia State University. In addition her duties as an Instructor with the Department of Music, she is also the Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistant Coordinator for Basic Music instruction.
