Master of Music

Performance Emphasis

A comprehensive program of studies to foster increased mastery in performance and pedagogy
in preparation for a professional career in music.
Specializations include instrumental or vocal concentrations.

Performance Emphasis:

  • Schedule an audition ( a CD or tape may be used in lieu of a live audition in some cases and then confirmed by a live audition in the first semester of study).
  • Submit a repertoire list

Music Education Emphasis:

  • Submit a videotape of classrom teaching, student teaching, or conducting
  • Submit a formal statement of your music education philosophy
