Undergraduate Music Programs
Bachelor of Music Education
Designed for prospective elementary, middle, and secondary school music teachers, this degree prepares the student for a career in public and private education. Graduating students receive a PreK-12 State of Kansas certification to teach either vocal or instrumental music. Students can select a second area in either vocal or instrumental music and also receive that PreK-12 area certification.Degree Requirements - Instrumental
Bachelor of Music - Performance
Offering a strong concentration in performance, this degree provides a thorough musical background based upon a broad liberal arts experience. Students awarded this degree are prepared to enter careers as professional musicians, studio music teachers, and for jobs in music-related industries.

Bachelor of Arts in Music
This broad-based degree emphasis, along with traditional music preparation, opportunities for student directed second concentrations. Graduates are prepared for music and art related positions within many career options.
Concentration in Digital Audio Recording
A concentration within the Bachelor of Arts degree program that provides theoretical and hands-on experience in digital audio recording and editing techniques.
Certificates
Certificates are available for short-term study (12 credits). They are open to all undergraduate students who meet requirements.
