Japanese Association SAKURA

 "J.A.Sakura" is a Japanese Student Association at Emporia State University. Sakura means Cherry Blossoms in Japanese. The main activities they participate are weekly Japanese classes, some periodical school events, and holding Sakura Choir concerts. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake happened, Sakura has been working on fund-raising activities for the victims of the earthquake. Until now, total $8,384.18 has been raised throughout their projects, and has been sent to Japan.
