Platt Family Scholarship Prize Essay Contest 

Deadline: July 31, 2013 

Amount: $350- $1,500 

This essay contest is for full-time undergraduate students at American colleges/universities. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been enrolled as full-time college students during the spring 2013 semester. Applicants do not need to be American citizens to apply as long as they are attending an American college/university during the eligibility period. 

 

The Heinlein Society Scholarship 

Deadline: May 15, 2013 

Amount: $500 

This scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled in an accredited college that awards Bachelor of Science or Arts degrees. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be majoring in engineering, math, physical science, or science fiction as literature. This scholarship is open to residents of any country.  

 

Herbet Lehman Scholarship 

Deadline: March 31, 2013 

Average Award: $2,000 

This scholarship is for high school seniors, high school graduates, and currently enrolled college freshmen. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to attend or be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university. Non-US citizens are eligible for this scholarship.
