ABOUT THE COORDINATOR Dr. Luisa Perez is a native from Peru, South America, who came as a graduate student to the University of Kansas, where she obtained her Ph.D in 1994.   She started working at Emporia State University in 1998. Luisa greatly enjoys being with students and helping them in every way.  Not only will she be your coordinator, but she will also be your guide, counselor, and friend while you are overseas.
