Council Travel
(1-800-2COUNCIL) This is the travel arm of the CIEE. They offer inexpensive air tickets to France as well as eurail passes and the International Student Identity Card, which will be very useful once you arrive in France. These can be purchased at their Lawrence office for a fee of $28 including two ID photos.
SNCF
This is the French rail system. Beginning in May, students can reserve TGV tickets online from the Aéroport Charles de Gaulle (rail station located in Terminal 2 of the main Paris airport CDG) to Saint Pierre des Corps (the TGV station just outside of Tours where I will pick you up when you arrive). When reserving your seat, make sure to specify that you want a 25% youth discount ("Découverte Jeune, -25 ans") if you are 25 years old or younger.
