Dining Services
Dining Services is trying their hardest to get green! We are doing our part and be more earth friendly! This takes some time, so please be patient. We became trayless as of August 20th, 2008. This helps us to stop wasting as much food, not use as much water and energy, as well as other areas.
- It takes 1 gallon of water to wash one tray.
- Letting your faucet run for five minutes uses about as much energy as letting a
a 60-watt light bulb run for 14 hours. - Leaky faucets that drip at the rate of one drip per second can waste more than
3,000 gallons of water each year.

Lakeview Cafeteria
The Lakeview Cafeteria serves as the main dining facility for residence hall students
at Emporia State University. You will find a salad bar, fresh pizza, vegetarian and
traditional selections, an American grill, an international station, soup station, waffle station, deli bar, and a
full selection of beverages. You will also find an exhibition station where you will
find food prepared right in front of you. Fresh desserts are also available.
Lakeview will be open weekend hours on Veteran's Day, November 11th.
Thanksgiving Dinner - November 18, 2009
Lakeview will close for Thanksgiving break at noon on Nov. 24th and will reopen Nov. 29th at 4:30 for dinner.

Skyline Dining Room
Overlooking Lake Wooster, the Skyline Dining Room is a buffet style restaurant It is open for lunch, Monday through Friday, and is a traditional gathering spot for University staff, students, and guests.
Skyline will be closed for Veteran's Day, November 11th.
Thanksgiving Feast - November 18, 2009

Hornet Express
The Hornet Express offers quick, grab-n-go paninis, calzones, wraps, salads, parfaits, made-to-order burritos & smoothies, as well as fountain drinks and snacks. We will be sure to satisfy all your hunger needs!
