Graphic Identity Standards For Merchandise

Emporia State University benefits from public recognition of its name, symbols, logos, and other identifying marks presented on apparel and specialty merchandise. The identifying marks create a unifying image and brand statement.

The objective of licensing the university’s identifying marks is to enhance its value among key audiences and stakeholders, as well as increase its ability to recruit and retain students, faculty, and staff.

Marketing & Media Relations is responsible for monitoring the use of any Emporia State University identifying mark to assure consistency with the standards and goals of the university.

All merchandise using any university identifying mark must be approved by the Art Director in Marketing & Media Relations before production and may only be produced by licensed vendors. A list of approved vendors can be found here.
