Special Instructions for KCSL Courses
The following courses are offered online through the Kansas Children's Service League (KCSL).

CD344ZB/CD744XB - CREATING POSITIVE SETTINGS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
CD344ZC/CD744XC - CULTURAL COMPETENCY FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
The e-learning course can be accessed 24/7 during the period it is offered. The course includes written materials, short downloadable video clips, graphics and pictures, and several short assignments. Online discussions and interactions with others enrolled in the course are required. The course does not have scheduled times for participants to be online. You need to have access to the Internet, and an email address.
Students wanting college credit must enroll in TWO places: Once with ESU (see course info below) and once with KCSL. To enroll with KCSL, a student needs to email the following to rrake@kcsl.org:
- Name
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- County of Residence
- No of Kids Student Works With (if any)
- Name & Date of Course
- Email Address
Instead of paying the ESU Technology Fee, students pay a fee directly to KCSL:
$40 per course

KCSL Policies:
1. Payment MUST be received before the course begins unless an exception has been made by the instructor.
2.
If payment is not received by the beginning of the start date, the registration slot will be given to another student on the "wait" list.
3.
Students will not be allowed to register for more than 2 courses during the same dates unless they are enrolled with a college.
POLICIES For ALL College Students:
1. Payment MUST be received before the course begins unless an exception has been made by the instructor. If payment is not received the student will be denied access to the course until payment has been processed.
