A direct practical study of the activities and skills needed to successfully manage a small independent business. Emphasis is on decision making in the areas of: expenses, price determination, sales promotion, purchasing, essential records, financial management, inventory control, accounts receivable, investment, and considerations in starting or buying a business. Prerequisites: MK 360, AC 223 or equivalent background approved by instructor, and junior standing; Requires permission to enroll from the Business Advising Office (620-341-5523)
