BIS Online Seminar

This is a online course required for new students who have been admitted to the online Bachelor of Integrated Studies (BIS) degree completion program. Special emphasis is given to developing a portfolio to fulfill admission and advising requirements. This portfolio, if maintained, also provides a basis for the capstone experience. Students earn one undergraduate credit hour.


BIS Capstone

As a directed study course, the capstone course requirement is a tangible project, often work or community related. As the culminating experience in the BIS curriculum, it is taken during a student's last semester or two in the program; it demonstrates the synthesis of academic contact with personal and professional goals. Students can earn up to 12 undergraduate credit hours over two semesters.

Using the World Wide Web

Using the World Wide Web, IT343ZB, introduces search strategies and professional applications for resoruces avaialbe on the Web including: Internet applications helpful to career and personal actvities, use of the WWW as a primary access to the Internet, and hypertext navigation of the WWW.
