Financial Aid & Grants
Eligibility for all types of federal aid including Federal Pell Grants,
Federal Supplemental Grants, Federal Perkins Loans is determined by completing
the FAFSA. To apply for need-based financial aid, fill out the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
Degree seeking students enrolled in a minimum of six or more hours of credit in fall or spring semester (four hours of credit in summer) are eligible to apply for financial aid. Exception: students who have qualified for a Pell Grant do not need to meet the six-hour minimum. An optional allocation for a computer is available. Off-Site and Distance Education Excellence Grants (MORE DETAILS)
Emporia State University awards excellence grants of $100/semester
to selected BIS students enrolled in six or more credit hours. These
grants are offered on a semester basis and can be renewed for one additional
semester for students achieving a 3.0 GPAGrant awards are based upon financial
need and the student's goals.
