The library has USGS Bulletins going back to 1889. Many are available on the third deck and the rest are available from the Special Collection through the reference desk.

The Library has holdings of the Smithsonian Institution's collected research into Anthropology, Botany, Ethnology, Paleobiology, Earth Sciences, and Zoology.
