The featured items lists are materials in the library that were recently purchased or belong to a certain collection. The lists are setup as RSS feeds. This way you can easily find the most recent book purchases we have in a particular area. Also, by clicking any of the books listed a catalog search is done so you can find out if the book is on the shelf.

What is an RSS Feed?

An RSS feed is an XML file that typically gives you a short piece of information such as a sports headline and links back to the full content. The library is using this technology to bring you a list of the newest books available in the library.

How to Subscribe?

You can subscribe to the feed thru most browsers such as Internet Explorer 7-Subcribe to this Feed or Firefox 3- Live Bookmarks features.
