Youth Leadership Day
September 18th & 19th
You are invited to Youth Leadership Day hosted by Emporia State University! This is a leadership experience for Kansas High Schools students and student groups who want to make a difference at their school and community
The day focuses on blend of highly interactive and effective leadership challenges that center around developing each individual student as a person and as a leader. The program is designed to bring students together from all over the state of Kansas to participate in this leadership experience in order to provide a more powerful experience. Students will learn how to not only make a difference in their schools, but within their own lives!
Learning Objectives for Students at Youth Leadership Day:
- Learn to create effective change within their personal life, school, and community
- Understand and value rights and responsibilities of active citizenship
- Develop critical, creative, and reflective problem-solving skills
- Develop deeper self-awareness, confidence, and purpose
- Develop relationships and connections with students across the state of Kansas
